What personal data we collect & why we collect it

The Company uses personal data (which includes but is not limited to, name, address, telephone contact number, email address) for the purposes of managing the Company, its community partners, its finances, running and marketing events at the Company, staff and employment.

The lawful reason for processing data in this way is “contract” for the purposes of serving our clients.

We do not obtain, use, store or share personal data, that would be Sensitive Personal Data as defined by GDPR.

How do we Protect the Security of Your Information

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.

We use encryption to protect your information contained in our customer list.

We use a firewall to protect against unlawful intrusion.

We limit access to your information on a “need to know” basis.

Comments on Our Website

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images or PDFs to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

When adding items to your shopping cart on the Company website, a cookie is set in your browser to facilitate your shopping experience. We do not share or use this information for any other purpose.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Website Forms

We use Elementor Pro to display Forms on our website. When visitors or users submit a form, we capture the IP Address for spam protection. We also capture the email address and might capture other personal data included in the Form fields.

When visitors or users submit a form we retain the data for 30+ days.

All collected data may be sent to our staff or contractors to perform necessary actions based on the form submission. 

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

• Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

• Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and

Zapier

Zapier is used on this site to securely record transaction information of purchases and integrate with our organization infrastructure, provided by Google Workspace. We use Google Drive and Google Sheets to manage our integration data. Google Analytics

We use the web analytics service Google Analytics.

The data processing serves the purpose of analyzing this website and its visitors as well as for marketing and advertising purposes. IP anonymization is activated on this website. However, when you activate IP anonymization on our website, Google shortens your IP address within the Member States of the European Union or in other countries that are parties to the European Marketing Area Treaty. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Cookies or comparable technologies are used with your consent on the basis of § 25 (1) TTDSG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Your personal data will be processed with your consent on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
