We are dedicated to sourcing and roasting exceptional coffees while fostering positive impact in our local community.

Committed to quality and sustainability, Coffee for Change believes in the power of coffee to bring people together and create meaningful change. We are brewing impact in our community through local partnerships, Coffee for Change, aims to make a difference beyond the cup.

We support those who are serving others on the mission of creating positive impact in our communities.

Our vision is to support nonprofits of all ranges of size to aid in a changing world.

By partnering with nonprofits and their specific missions we combine forces to generate the needed resources for their unique missions; serving people an amazing coffee product, and changing lives in the process.

Coffee For Change, powered by Compass Craft Roasters, is based out of Greenville, South Carolina, and we have chosen to begin our journey of supporting local nonprofits in the region, some of which are creating state-wide mission expansions. We plan to support locally while expanding to extend our reach of partnership and support to the state and local region, before attempting at the national scale.

Our why comes from a heart of service and support for others.

Our three owners have hearts of philanthropy and a desire to support those who speak to our hearts; which leaves almost nobody out. We have a desire to build a thriving coffee business that supports others doing it.

One of our founding phrases is “a rising tide raises all ships”, and our why revolves around exactly that. Grow philanthropy and change lives, while building a business that sustains the mission and vision of Coffee For Change.

Mike Bliss

A dedicated husband of 18 years and father of three children, has made the upstate of South Carolina his home. As a successful business owner for more than 20 years, Mike has a deep passion for creating a safer environment for his family. He believes in the power of education to address the issues facing our community.

Scott McMahon

Having lived in various parts of the United States, Scott chose to make the Upstate of SC his home more than 20 years ago. He has a long history of working with nonprofits and finding creative ways to meet the fundraising goals of deserving entities. Utilizing Scott’s passion for coffee, history, and music he is dedicated to finding creative solutions to ensure that Coffee for Change makes the maximum impact on many fronts. Scott hopes to encompass his love for art, music, and various cultures to create both enjoyment and education of coffee on a local and national level.

Dustin Elliott

Born and raised all over the world and accomplished in a variety of professional disciplines, Dustin’s forefront passion is service. Combining creativity, innovative thinking, and desire to serve others has brought him to CoffeeForChange with the fire to create impact by serving those who serve. He moved to Greenville in 2022, met his wife, and is making Greenville a home while he builds a family and business. His favorite saying is “a rising tide raises all ships”, and is always pouring energy into raising that tide; both professionally and personally.
